FOOTBALLERS’ FEET.

KICKING STOPS GROWTH. It is not generally known that the average man’s left foot is larger than his right, but this has been found to be the case by a Dundee boot salesman. A census of foot sizes was recently taken over a fortnight, and when the results were totalled the difference' in favour of the left foot was found to be quite appreciable. . Most men kick with the right toot, and it is supposed that kicking has the effect of stunting the growth of the member used, says the Dundee Adveitiser. In support of this theory is another test by the same salesman, which has revealed the tact that, whereas the average size in boots tor men is eight, those who are continually playing football average only six. a surprising number taking fives, and quite a few fours.
