Coffey’s reply to a suggestion at a meeting of the Christchurch Sports Club that insufficient publicity was given to the recent boxing championships, and that the Advertising Committee should have exploited the meeting through other mediums besides the newspapers. “Tell me how it is that the most successful business men stick by newspaper advertising?” Mr Coffty repeated. But there was no answer. Six Only Ladies’ Latest in Gabardine Frocks, braided and beautifully-made, frm 39/6 to 49/6; Evening Frocks at’ ■Special Prices.—Geo. Cullen & Co.—•'
