Creostaln is pure Creosote Oil and natural brown colouring matter direct from tar distillation. The use of Creostaln is to penetrate and preserve Timber. Paint covers the surface, Creostain gets into the fibre of the wood and lengthens its life. Creostain lengthens the life of white pine or sap timber. Borer will not touch timber treated with It. Farmers find it a cheap and effective preservative for all buildings, gates, fencing, stables and posts, sheep-pens, stock-yards, shingle roofs, etc. When timber needs protection from Wet Rot, Dry Rot, or Borer, Creostain is better than several coats of paint. Nothing Is so easy to apply, as it dries INTO the timber In live minutes. It Is good for boats, canoes, launches, etc. One gallon of Creostain will carry as much surface as two gallons of paint, and is half the price.
