CHAMPIONSHIP THIRD ROUND

In the Ladies’ Golf Championship for the third round Miss Upton heat Miss Theomin 1 up, Mrs. J. A. Cook beat Miss Quinn 5 up and 4 to play, Miss Withers beat Miss Petrie 2 up, Miss M. Payton heat Miss V. Upharn 1 up, Miss Jervis beat Miss D. Payton 5 up and 3 to play, Mrs. Dodgshun beat Miss K. Bristed 5 up and 4-;to play, Miss CSirvstall beat Mrs. Orbell 3 up and 1 to play, Miss Culling heat Miss Acheson 2 up. The Ladies’ Golf Union challenge bowl was won by Miss White Parsons, 88 —15—73, with Miss Harkness as runner-up, 89—10—79. The play off for the Coronation medal resulted:—Miss D. Petrie, 92 8 —84; Mrs. Guy Williams,„B9 —I—BB.1—88. Miss Cromb did the sixth hole, 106 yards, in one, yesterday.
