SEAMEN’S STRIKE.
RUAHINE BEING WORKED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 15. Three gangs commenced work discharging the Ruahine this morning. The President of the Watersiders’ Union expressed the opinion that the reason why the ship was not worked yesterday was because no labour was available, the port being busy. Other vessels were unable to secure sufficient gangs. The companies admit the Svatersiders are able to choose the vessel to \work, otherwise the strike position is imohamred
