The Journal of English Life contains aij article contributed by Matteotti before his murder. It charges the officials of the Mussolini government with treasonable corruption and disgraceful jobbery in connection with the land concessions granted- to the Sinclair Oil Company. The Article declares that many leading Fascist! conduct a widespread levy on private and semi-public enterprises for the purpose of maintaining the Fascist! newspapers and other organisations, He concludes that Fascisti’s public actions tend to make Italy infamous; throughout the world.
