YESTERDAY’S SESSION. (Press Association). i WELLINGTON, Aug. 24. . The House met at 1.30 p.m. | -Mr. McCombs presented a petition against the House proceeding with ’ the Religious Exercises in Schools Bill introduced by Mr. Isitt. In replying to Mr. Han an who mentioned that a number of traders * in Otago felt at a disadvantage through being unable to obtain a certain brand of flour owing to the action of the distributors, the Minister of Customs said the matter had already been inquired into and •and it had been ascertained that the flour mentioned could be obtained if reasonable notice was given. The Minister said he hoped to get. the Board of Trade reconstructed so that it would have power to investigate such matters.
