PERSONAL.
Mr. Gilbert Buchan, who broke his ankle last week, is progressing favourably. He has left the hospital and is now at home. Messrs. W. S. Furby, W. W. Daw, W. Northcliffe, G. H. Jenkin and W. H. Newton arrived at Thames from Auckland yesterday. Messrs. J. H. Hammond, F. Luxford, R. English and D. Andrews, of Hamilton, visited Thames yesterday.
