IMPORTANT DECISION.

In the test case in which Cathie and Sons, Ltd., were charged with failing to pay wages on Anzac Day, tho Magistrate, Mr F. Hunt, decided that Anzac Day was not a public holiday. Employers could not be compelled to pay wages on that day. The information was dismissed.
