AMUSEMENTS.
KING’S THEATRE. The famous Alsace Company of musical performers who have created such a pleasing impression will , make their last appearance at the ; King’s Theatre to-night. These arfists have been accorded a splendid j reception at each performance. Mr. | Louis Alsace impressed the audience ! with his wonderful violin playing, j and the Alsacephone, which he also introduced, and on which he played jazz and rags of a delightful order. Rena Te Au possesses a fine soprano voice and her interpretation of classical and popular solos was a delight. Last night she had to respond to numerous recalls. Miss Mari Coleni is a brilliant pianist her execution and technique being of a high order. These three artists form a rare combination of musical talent and to-night they will introduce a repertoire of vocal, and instrumental gems, solos, duets and trios, in conjunction with community singing, which was a pronounced success last night. At to-night’s performance community singing will be repeated. Tonight’s big picture is a powerful dramatic story of prison life entitled “Three Sevens” in which Antonio Moreno heads a powerful cast. There is also a 2-reel Christie comedy entitled “In for Life.” The box plan is at Johnstons.
