IN SOUTH AFRICA. A BIG TRANSFER, , (A. and N. V Cable. - ) CAPETOWN, October 10. An important insurance deal is announced. The South African Life Assurance Society has purchased the entire African business of the New iCTork Mutual Insurance Company, in•volving the transfer of over £1,000,000 from New York for investment in South Africa.
