SLANDER ACTION. (Press Association.) ' AUCKLAND, August 5. THe Supreme Court awarded £4OO damages for slander in th© claim by Mrs. Lelia Watson, claiming £5Ol, for slander. Boyd, a labourer, lodged with plaintiff in a boardinghouse, and the words complained of reflected on plaintiff’s character.
