St. George’s Women’s Guild will benefit appreciably by the successful euchre party and dance held in the Parish Hall last evening. There were 22 tables of players and including the non-players, fully 310 people attended. Progressive euchre was played unt.il 10 p.m., when a' light supper was provided followed by two hours’ dancing. Music > was provided by Mrs. Doidge, extras being given by Mr. Prussing and Mr. J. Buchan. The prizes Avere the gifts of Mesdames J. and W. Dufty, and con- • sisted of a’beautiful cut-glass vase and a g01d.... mounted safety-razor Avith accessories. The ladies’ prize was won by Mrs. W. Lloyd and Mr. A. Beck Avas the prizeAvinrier for the gentlemen. The boobj 7 prizes Avere Avon by Mrs. Whelan and Mr. C. R.
