To Old Kauaeranga Boys
On Monday nigfrk August '11, a welcome home to our boys was held in the Kauaeratnga Hall, where some 60 couples were present. The Hall ■was a regular ferniery. It was decorated with fern's both inside and out. Many cars and vehicles left Thames, as the night was a perfect, one. Mir. Dave McPike welcomed: home the boys. Songs were suing by Mr. D. Fisher and Mr. Hogg. A sailor's hornpipe was Glanced by Mr W. Harrison, and' a sword dance by Mrs. G. Smith and G. Dumlop, while Mrs. J. Hedsley and Mr." Mc- ■ Pike contributed" a diuefe, asnd Pfce. K. Casey amd!' Mr. T. B. , Senior, songs., Violip solos wetie rendered by (Messrs). G. JWniiigß and RGrompton. " Dancing was continued till 3 a.m. on Tuesday. Excellent dance i music was supplied by Messrs.D. Fiisher -amd G. Daimlop. Exitras were played! by Miss 'B." Winder and Mi* iMoLaiUighlin)'. .
