WAIHI WORKING CONDITIONS
WAIHI, Nov. 8. A conference between the Waihi ; Miners' Union, and representatives ot [ the Waihi notine owners opened here on Wednesday amd concluded last night. The union is seeking} a fresh' award, asking for a substantial increase in wages, amd improved working ccmddtions. The basis of agreement reached is to be submitted to a meeting of members for ratification, or other-wfiee.---Pre» Association.
