The transfer of the institutions dealing with invalided soldiers from the Health Department wilil be completed at thoriiies are planning to provide a sanathe end of tfte month. The Defence autoirium fo'itho treatment of consumptive soldiers in the North Island, but the site has not been selected, A second sanatorium may be provided in the* South) Island. When the military sanatoria have been etfeotted, th«* Defence Department wil hand o\er to the Health Department Te Waikato Sanatorium, which is now accommodating soldier patients, but which is not regarded as altogether suitable for the treatment of returned men.
