hospital, stated tihat the wound was a very serious one, and the arm would be permanently disabled. Constable Fany of Huntly, stated that aoousod oanie to the police station raying, "I shot Dave KernoliatPfor I"'violating my wife. I had no sleep 'for nine mights. I am-satisfied ' now.". Upon going to the house Kurnohan said, "Harry shot me." Accused pleaded not guilty and , was oommitited for trial at the Supreme Court next week, no bail being, allowed. —Press Association.
