TIDAL WAVE AT SAMOA
EARTHQUAKE AT TONCA. SUVA, July 11 ■ There has been an earthquake and tidi&l wave in the Samoan Group, the severest on record. The Tongaii Group also experienced the earthquake. At Haapai tnere was three waves 14ft high, but no material damage. Keppel Jshvvi suffered the worst. . Many native, houses were destroyed, and a ooncrete wharf Aviais carried away.
