THE WAITOTARA'S GREW
AUCKLAND, July 2. A vessel that arrived at Auckland to. day reports that the entire crew of the s.s. Waitotara arrived at Noumea safely.. There has been no accident of any kind. They had been well provided with foojjD in the boats. They were picked up witfe in 24 hours after they abandoned thofifv,. ship. The fire started,in one of the ship's \ holds } presumably from spontaneous combustion. The captain left the steamer in his pyjamas. The cfle^ behaved admirably.—Pre^s Aesoriation.
