During their stay at Thames tlie Marutt Boys put up at Mr Canuer'ir Shortland Hotel. The boys speak 'In tht> highest terms of ,t(he hospitality extended to them by the proprietor, who did everything in his power to make tholr short stay as pleasant as possible. Before returning to thecity, three ringing cheers were givci* by the boys for the^hospitaible hoefc and hostecss and his assistants.
