WELLINGTON, August 20
A statement issued by the Minister oi' Public Health impresses on the travelling public the necessity of vaccination, especially-in the ' case of those leading Auckland. Iti warns vaccines to be sure of certificates to save themselves inconvenience and declares it may be necessaiy for the Government at any moment to take further precautions to prevent the spread of the epidemic. This official warning is generally regarded, though not officially stilted, as hinting at the pos--si'bility <;f isolating Auckland to the extent that no one wili be allowed to leave who i.s unvaccinated or who cannot produce a certificate of vaccinar tiou. The hulk which was alongside the Delphic, who.se quartermaster developed smallpox, l.i.s teen isolated. The Delphic leaves for the Bluff this afternoon, completing the isolation period at sea.
