The jockey on Tracery (Whalley) was unable to avoid the suffragist, jWiho ;afffi©mpted % grab Tracery's neck. The horse caught and sent him flying. Tracery fell heavily. Whalley was thrown and just had time to crawl to safety under the railings before the rest of the field raced by.
