There was little work of- importance on the tracks at Ellerslie this morning:. The bulk of the horses were restricted to steady pacing.
Idealism, Garroo, and Marton were schooled over five fences, jumping well. Fort William, Multiply, Pharos, Deniso, Orme, Nibrth-east, The-N'a-tive, Stpney,' St. Kevin, Dorando, Gerbera, Bercolo, and Bismarck 1 arrived yesterday.
. When Strathmoira fell yesterday he broke his pelvfis and has since been destroyed.
Armagh was withdrawn from the Nbrtheam Steeplechase this morning;,
