/■ "■ OffIBttSTCpUIRCH, Mlay 7. Two tramway men, Eaigene Allen and Wm. Hiorgan, have been committed for trial on a charge of committing perjury in connection .with a tram accident oi- April 6th, whereby Eivelyn Eldith iCoombes met her death.
Allen at the inquest swore.» that when Coombes fell the car was three poles from the stopping place and Horgian, who was conductor, swore when hs stopped the car it was two poles from the stopping place. Both accused reserved, their defence. ; , . .
