A complete! change of programme was made at the above- popular picture house on Saturday ,and was vehved by a large audience, whose plaudits fully testified to its approval of the series. • "Rock of Ages" h the title of tbe star drama, and is a! well thought out dramatisation. -of the well kniown hymn. It deals with the life of an erring- woman who finds solace at last in the forgiveness of her' sins. A fine- Vita dramai not without pathos is ''Wanted a grandmother," featuring Mauricei an,... Helen; Costello and Florence" Tui'ner. The latter disguised as an elderly person ©■btains a situa.tion. as governess of a lonely little boy. She is caugh tone day minu^ her wig and both .she and: the elder brother recognise they caulnot do without each other anu the little boy is given a 'grandmother' for good. '"Letters of a life time" 'is a beautiful vision' story by the Tau.houser Company. "A visiti tol the 1000 islands" pro\-id"es an interesting: travel picture.' T!hei Comedies, great, especially "Jones' Awakening,' with Bunny_ as a henpecked husband, and Flora Finoh as a virago. Th© orchestral itemis are catchy and* well executed.
