After.a personal inspection of the Three Kings Mr Allport, vSecretary of Marine, reports lie cruised all round the islands in a launch, and his definite* conclusion was. that there was not a feasible place for any kind of warning device on the Wester a. King, but a first-class light should be placed on the Big King. He believes the most suitable site to be on the-south-west side of the island, at a height of about 30CFft..
