Two more bodies, those of Sfcudwell and Gard. have been recovered from the Lyell mine. .

■ Though the features were unrecognisable the bodies were preserved. The resourera reached the 755 ft level and found the shaft undamaged and no smoke nor fumes, indicating that the fire is out.

Operations for unwavering and recovering the remainder of the bodies are being! pushed on.
