RIOTS AT SWANSEA.
BATON CHAHGEIS- MADE. TEN POLJCFMEiN INJURED. (Per United Press Association.) (Received 27th, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 26. There has been rioting at Swansea where- the -waggon workers! ar'o on strike. ■ A crowd at midnight invaded the works, smashing the contents, while women xsrged drunken men, stripped to tho Waist, to assault the caretakers. The police made a, baton charge, and! the crowd retaliated with stones, ten policemen' being injured, but order Was, restored.
