TE AROHA, September 12,
Last nighfc Messrs B. L. Somers, P. Gilchrist, and I. Gavin left Te Aroha for Wellington with a largely: signed petition setting forth to the Representation . Commission the dissatisfaction of the signatories vith the inclusion of Te Aroha in the Ohinemtiri electorate, and praying, on the grounds of natural boundaries* community of interests, etc., to be restored to Tauranga. To Aroha, however, 'is divided on the mutter. A Targe and important section of tho community, being pleased with the inclusion of the town in the Ohinemuri electorate, is sending a counter petition, expressing content with the Commission's finding. The bearers of this petitioa are Messrs J. D. Morisom tuni P. Cleary, vicar, of St. Mark's. -
