(By Telegraph.—Special:) ~ Wellington; September v, Tho Prime Minister (Sir J. GF. Ward) states that ho has no announcoment to m»ke at present regarding the iiliing of th« .position formerly occupied by the Hon. George Fowlds. Though, a, fe ood deal of rumour is current as to the probable appointmsnt of one or even two Ministers, Sir Joseph Ward's intentions are being kept &. close secret. The only hint of his intentions which has a better foundation than the many statements in circulation was provided when the Education Department's report was presented to Parliament on Friday aftor noon, this formality being done in the nam« of the Hon. T. Mackenzie.
