EXTREMES IN HATS.
Alt present where hats are concerned we stand between two extremes. The woman who cannot weal a large hat can make tKj selection, of a small toque. The ou|ly one who is not catered for to h*r satisfaction is the unfortunate iudividual to whom, both large ir>d small headgear are equally anathema, and who ha spinned her faith hitherto to the medium-sized hat. Me-dium-sized! models of a smart description are more than a little difficult, to procure, while the way in whifch the brims slope before taking sn upward turn, thus causing the hat +v fit right down on the head, like a basin, makes' many of the ne«v models not a little trying to wear.
