Oil Miners' Union Day, March Is', there should ba a gpml and representative gathering at D'odd's Paddock, Poffqwai, whan the animal sports in connection with, the Thames M'ienrs' Union will be held.

Entries for the principal events will !be received by the secretary (Mr W. H. Lucas) up to 9 p.m. of Monday, February 22nd. These, include Miners' Union Handicapl, for which £10 will be given in prizes, Mile Handicap .£5, Hlalf-mile Handicap £3 10s, ami bievcle races, prizes £i\ and. under.
