At the Marine inquiry a» to the Iverna aaidi Advance collision* the Court found the master of the tut' brought about <tihe disaster by bringing his vessel aromndi from; it's position! on the starboard bow of the Iverna to the reversed' position on her port bow.

The Court stated everything that was reasonable and proper was done by the maister of the Ivernai to save the crew of the tug.

The Judlge commented'on the reck leßsness of the tug.'master in coming alongside the sihiip.
