Wetting Bells.

A wedding of considerable local interest, took place at the residence ot Mr W. Rowe, Park, Road; Auckland, when (Miss Lulu Rowe was. pined in body wedlock to Mr W. Brownett. The ibride was most beconr'.ngly attired in a white silk dress, tastefully trimnied with valen'cemnes lace. A handsome veil was arranged over *»■ coronet of orange blossoms and in her 'hand she carried a dainty bouquet. The .bridesmaids - were Miss Gribible amd Miss Oora. Gri'bble<, the former's dress being a pale pink me ■• cerisied muslin, and the latter's a pal=> blue msrcieiiised muislin, both beinf; effectively trimmed. Mk" T. Masted suipported the bridegroom and Mr W. Row© acted as groomsman, while the Rev. W. Rl. Tuck, M.A., was the officiating minister. The bridegroom's , present" to tlhlei bride was a handsome gold 'brooch, and gold brooiches were also given to the bridesmia'.ds. Mr and Mrsi Brownett siuibsequently left for Hamilton, where thpir honeymoon was spent. Th© bride's travelling dress was a navy blue cloth costume, white vest, and black hat.
