Wliat the law requires i-= that the wages books shall be kept in a specified form, drawn up by tho Laibour lDlei>artm;en it. In tihese books the employers are required to keep n record of all wages paid, but it is in"coniecifc to suppose that the book has to be hu.n{r up in a prominent place on a wftfl in a ■workroom. Nobody ientitled to eDramane; the wtaigels book but the Inspector of Factories and the Insapeictor of Awards.
