Tsib 'Post .states that the names of one ibiumdred electors were wrongly pkiced on the roll for the recent Tuaip'ekai bye' election,, owimg to an error on the. part of 'the officer in the electoral department. Rolls had been made up on the basis of the new boundares, and wifren Bennett died the Tuapeka list (had to be reconstructed! on the eccii3t'iiD(g basis, a portion of Mt. Ida ia Micluded in Tuapeka under the new order of th'ngs and! the oleirkß failed to retransfer the namea in" question to the old reijieptaycle.- The error iei incidental to tilie .dh'ainee of botandarie's and the initiation' of the card system of compiling the wile.
