The -wreck of the Rangdtoto, which sank off Jackson's Head in 1873 irea recently visited by a diver in search of a cargo of copper plate she waa supposed to carry. The steamer was found overgrown with kelp, and, the engines were in a remarkable state of preservation', but thiokly incriuted with submarine growth. No,copper was found, but tihe after 1 hold contained a large quantity of liquor of ruious sorts. Some was sampled ■ and found to have improved !by submersion except the brandy. No money was discovered in; the strong room, having: 'been removed when the vessel was abandoned.
