NAPIER, June 10. A fatal trap abtndent eoourred at Petane this evening. A trap containing two married ladles iiamed Marshall and the infant son of one of them, was proceeding through a cutting near Wairoaih, a short distance from Petane, when the horse attached to the trap commenced kicking, with tho result that the Vehiclewas eapaiaed and the oooapants thrown out. The baby was killed instantaneously, his skßll being fractured. The child was ten months old.
