C'KRrST'CHURCII, January 18. Ab a meeting of the South Island Representation Commission protests wore lodged against culling 1 up the old Tiuipuikai district.
D'eputaitions from, Ivaia.poi n.nd Riccaa'tom electorates also protesteJ against bhio new 'boundaries of the Goriildino district. They also oibjeoted to the inclusion, in the Ashburlon eieotor'ate.
Havelock also protested against that poi'tioii of tine Waii'a.u eloctorate being transfeiTed to Nelson, as the proposed change would tend towards a political isolation and almtost virtual disifranohisement.
The Commissioners haive made an announcement that their decisions will ho made officially in due corn-so.
