Mr McGowan's Coal Mines Act Amendment Bill, which, has be-nu reported from the Committee. An addition to clause 2 provides that if any person feels aggrieved by the decision of the- Warden or Coiranissionci- he may appeal to the Minister, and the Minister may either confirm such decision or direct, the Warden or Commissioner to grant or refuse the .application.- Clause 3. ■ providing that a mine manager may lx* disqualified for negligence or breach of rules, was struck oiit, as it. was deemed to bt> too drastic
