The 3Gill anniversary cf the Hibernian, Aiustralasiaini 'Catholic Bieaiefit Society was celebrated at the Oddfellows' Hall last, night by a, most successful ball- There was; a, large attendance and enthusiasm characterised the proceedings ' throughoutMembers of other friendly societies were present in regaliaWilling hands had convierted the interior of 'till© building into, am attractive retreat with decorations of nikau palms, ferns, and flagis- The floor had also received special attention, _ aud^ with music supplied 'by Williams' orchestrai, tibe enjoyment of dancers left nothing to be desired- To facilitate the ooimifort of patrons the sup-' per was held in, the Brian Boru Hotel, the arrangements being- in the capable hands of Mr Aj- Billing- The committee, who ,are to be congratulated on the 'sucicess of 'their efforts, were Miss Lynch;, Miss Nblani, Miss Twohill, and Messrs M- Whelam, W- 'MioDonald, EKenny, J- Twohill, P- Cotter,. AWh^en and F- Robinson, with, Mr W. J-'-Foy ais President- Messrs Mi- Moran and J- Connolly acted a,s miaisiters. of ceireimoniies.
