At Teraita, 40 miles inland, a huge land slip completely smothered the station house of Mr F- A- Tiffen at 10 o'clock on Monday night-

They drawled for tours to the. wool shed and when they reached if had all their 1 clothes torn off- They were found at. 10 a-m- on Tuesday wrapped in wool sacks, all suffering intensely.
They were carriedj ,to Trowhana station, a mile distant, whence the doctor is now proceeding-
