Fatal Battery Accident.
A TERRIBLE DEATH. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, August 14. It appears that the unfortunate maw, who comes from Coroinandel, was caught in the beltiDg, and sustained terrible injuries before the accident was discovered. No on© was , present when the accident occurred, and it is said that Gatland was,hurled round and round for several minutes before assistance was available.
