[Per United Press Association.] DUNEDIN, August 9. . McGregor was charged ■with, the attempted murder of Win. Ewart Sargood. The latter said that the accused was in the firm's employ for 2\ years, and was well paid. On July 27th he found McGregor locked in his room, and certainly under the. influence of liquor.
