Oswald Dramatic Company,
"CUEREiNT CASH."
The re-appearance at Thames of the popular Oswald Dramatic Company should have attracted a larger audience than that which last night attended the Miners' Union Hall, but what was lacking in numbers was more than equalised by the approval with which those present accorded the drama, presented—'Current Cash.1 The company makes selections of dramatic representations which cannot fail to be popular, and as the}' are faithfully presented and capably produced, the second appearance of the company, which will be made on Friday, should attract a crowded house. All the characters are well played, and th© principals give a most conscientious' and.-able representation, of the characters which they pourtray.. Mis» L'Estr&ng© is a vocal and dram-, atic artiste who- has' already become popular at Thames, while in Messrs. Rolfe and Oswald the company possess two leads who act their parts with every regard to the dramatic oonventialities. The minor characters are well filled, and judging by the applause which greeted their efforts, the audience was more than satisfied. The company will appear on Friday night in; the sensational and popular drama "The Ticket of Leave Man." Saturday afternoon a grand matinee for children will be given and on Saturday night "The Outcast" will be produced by special request.
