Thik afternoon it was reported to Sergt. Darby that ai main, named Geo. Char nook, aged about 96 years, was found) dead im-his residence in Beach road, near Judd's foundry. The deceased, who has 'been in feeble health for some time, has 'been living ■with a man named. Bowkr, bait it. was never antiidpated that ho would pass; away suddenly- Thiisi afternoon: Bowler 1 .returned from work, and upon entering the residence, found Ghairnock deadl He immediately comniiunioated with the polk©, and the body was removed to the morgue, where it now lieu awaiting the coroner'a inquest.
