Cr Pbulgrain for non-attendance. .—Minutes, Etc— The minutes* of the last meeting were read, by .the Town Clerk (Mi- A^ Bruce) and! adopted, while tha outward correspondence was confirmed. —Tlrea.surr Payments.—- j The Treasury intimated that (ho J sum of £7 10s, (water supplied to offices of Mines- Department) £i 10s and water 1 supplied to S.-M,- Buildings £o), had been placed to tha credit of the Council; also: .£'s 15s for water J supplied to- police station. —Dirty Drain in, Corhrane Street--^-Agnes' G. Hansen wrote:'--"'I beg to draw your attention, to the perpetual dirty state of the drain fronting my property in Cocliraiio street. To remedy matters Mi" Geo. Fisher (owner of the-adjoinin" 1 property) and self ask that concrete water tables be laid down from corner of Davy street to corner of Queen street, and Aye will pay our share of cost of same- Hoping, that you will take this matter up; at once, and thanking you in anticipation."
