Fire in Auckland.

AUCKLAND, July 5.
The premises of Aibei Dykes and Co. were damaged 'by fire this morning.

A: fire in .Sihortland abrdet early this morning destroyed about £.1000 worth of ■stock and machinery of Abel Dykes and Co., printers, and burnt the ■rooms of Mr Dossetar, chemist, and d!ama.pred the dentist rooms of Mr T. V. Frost by smoke and water. The fire is believed to have originated in Dossetor's roams: The insurances are: Brick building owned by Mrs Roibfevtson, of Mangere, £1400 in the Rbyal (damage aibcmi £300), printer's .stock and machinery, £5000, distributed in .the Victoria £350, Norwich Union £360, £750, L;w Union Crown !£llOO, -New Zealand £330, Guardian ! £500, Royal £1310, South British £300; Docsetor was insured for £120 ; in the United. Frost, is insured in the, Sun office, but the amount is unobtainable.
