LONDON, September 28. . The Tiinefl Joorfespondent, at Bombay wires that Commander Pearse, of H.M.s. Persus, enquired the objects of the Turkish vessels visit to Kowezt, at the head of the Pesian Gulf. He was informed that he had beeD instructed to land 500 troops,, but Cajnmandei!. Pearse^ adyised the Turkish to Bufera. The* Turkish commander declined, and the vessel weighed anchor, entered the harbour, »nd prepared to land troops. The commander of the Persius immediately ordered the decks to I c cleared for action, and : kept the search light on the ..Turkish decks, and the Turkish commander in the morning announced that he was returning to Fao in order to communicate with Constantinople while the vessel remains at Fao. _ .' Edhem Pasha meanwhile is massing his troops at Busra. The Shieks at Marabouth declined the request of the Vali of Busra's to discourage the calls. of British warships and steamers. - The Times says tbit c the Shieks may count o&f British'support. iy.
