DUNEDIN, February 15. At the Supreme Court' James White and Frank Watson were arraigned on a charge of attempting to steal from Mr J. A. Braithwaite £109 133 4d in January. White, who was out on bail, did not appear, and his bail was estreated. In Watson's case the jury returned a verdict ol not guilty, and accused was discharged.. The charge agaijnst John. Holland a( carnally knowing ' a child under the age of nine years was proceeded with bub was Inoto concluded.
